I have set a 28 mm x 20 mm Dendrite Agate in a fine silver setting from which I have hung a 13 x 7 mm teardrop Pink Sapphire. The Dendrite is an opaque white rather than blue but has been difficult to capture with my camera.
 
 
This pendant measures just over 2 " long (including the bale) by 1" and hangs from an 18" sterling silver chain which can be worn up to 20"
