I have set a 17 mm x 27 mm  cabochon in a fine silver setting. On top of it is a 14 mm x 7 mm blue Kyanite cabochon and below is a 5 mm Kenyan Sapphire.

The pendant measures 2.75" by 0.75" and hangs from a sterling silver chain.
